PADI Instructor courses
The PADI Assistant Instructor course will be conducted in an associated PADI 5-Star facility whereas the Open water scuba instructor course, Instructor development course, IDC Staff and Course director programs will be conducted in an associated PADI 5-Star IDC or CDC.
PADI Assistant-instructor
The Assistant Instructor course is the first of two steps towards an instructor certification. For more flexibility, it can be completed separately from the Open Water scuba instructor portion.
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI)
This is the second and last step to become a scuba instructor. Once certified, you can teach PADI’s basic courses and start your career.
PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)
You can choose to merge the Assistant Instructor and the OWSI courses together in a program known as the PADI Instructor development course (IDC). By combining both courses, your training will be shortened by one day.
PADI Speciality Instructor
Are you a certified instructor who wants to learn how to teach PADI specialty courses efficiently? This is the perfect course for you! You will learn how to teach them and also all the tricks and tools from a seasoned instructor.
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)
This program can be conducted by a PADI course director. You will learn how to teach a combination of five PADI specialty programs and you will be able to certify Master scuba divers.
PADI IDC Staff
Have you become a seasoned instructor who wants to share his knowledge? Why don’t you register in the IDC-Staff program to assist course directors during instructor training programs?
PADI Master Instructor
This title is awarded to seasoned and well-rounded PADI instructors meeting specific prerequisites and teaching credentials. If you need help with the prerequisites, we can help you.
PADI Course Director
This program is run directly by PADI staff. As a PADI course director, you will be authorized to independently conduct instructor development programs and other instructor training courses. Contact us to find out how we can help you become a course director.
